Bradford pharmacy sold to online pharmacy group
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Pharmacy Care Direct in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Business. Built around You.

Pharmacy Care Direct is a standard hours community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 5,000 items per month. It occupies a ground-floor unit in a converted semi-detached house on Gaisby Lane in Shipley.
The pharmacy has been owned by Faisal Sheikh of Faisal Sheikh Limited for over 22 years and was brought to market to allow him to scale back his portfolio.
Following a confidential sales process with Tom Young at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by Shamas Ul Haq of Door 2 Door Pharmacy, who owns two online pharmacies - one in Bradford and one in Wakefield - and also Kinsley Pharmacy in Wakefield.
Faisal Sheikh, the former owner of Pharmacy Care Direct, comments, “Having reviewed my portfolio, I made the tough decision to sell Pharmacy Care Direct after more than 20 years of ownership. I wish Shamas every success for the future.”
Tom Young, Senior Business Agent – Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “It was a pleasure to facilitate this sale and act for Faisal. We achieved strong interest in this pharmacy and quickly secured a deal with Shamas, who plans to merge the brick-and-mortar pharmacy with his existing online pharmacy nearby, which is something we’re seeing more and more of in the sector. I wish him every success and am confident the pharmacy will thrive under his ownership.”
Pharmacy Care Direct was sold for an undisclosed price.
