'Outstanding' Cheshire day nursery joins Kids Planet family

Play Away Day Nursery is an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ day nursery setting with an operating capacity for 87 children aged nought to five years. The purpose-built setting is recognised for its fantastic reputation within the local community and is committed to delivering high-quality childcare.
The setting sits in the heart of Runcorn town centre on Langdale Road, and benefits from excellent access to central Liverpool, which is just a 30-minute drive away.
Play Away Day Nursery has been owned by Grainne McGoven-Scott since 2001 and was brought to market as she looks towards retirement.
Following a confidential sales process with Sofia Beck at Christie & Co, the business has been acquired by Kids Planet Day Nurseries, and has been subsequently rebranded. This acquisition takes its growing portfolio in excess of 300 settings.
