Bought in 2009 by Amanda and Patrick Kinsley, Praesmohr House is an established care business registered for up to 28 elderly residents. It occupies a two-storey, 28-bedroom former country home on the outskirts of Aboyne, an affluent village in the heart of Aberdeenshire.
Amanda and Patrick recently decided to sell to retire.
Following a confidential sales process with Andrew Fyfe at Christie & Co, the home has been purchased by new market entrant, JDRH Limited, which is owned by Janet Decourt and Ross Haworth, who have plans to acquire additional care homes in the near future.
Andrew Fyfe, Associate Director - Care at Christie & Co, comments, “I’m delighted to have worked on the sale of Praesmohr House in Aboyne, a really well-run and profitable residential home in Aberdeenshire. Janet and Ross are already making positive changes, and I look forward to revisiting the home in due course.”
Praesmohr House Care Home sold for an undisclosed price.
