Situated in a prominent waterfront position on Leazes Street, overlooking Amble Harbour, The Harbour Inn is renowned as one of the area’s most popular hospitality venues. With a strong reputation for quality food, accommodation, and hospitality, the traditional pub benefits from both a loyal local following and the town’s thriving tourism market.
The pub has been acquired by Punch Pubs and will continue to be run by its existing operators, the Hume family, who have successfully operated the business in recent years. The family also runs The Market Tavern in Alnwick, further strengthening their footprint in the Northumberland hospitality sector. The acquisition reflects continued confidence in the strength of the UK’s coastal pub market and in experienced operators such as the Hume family to drive long-term success.
