Residential developer buys closed Isle of Wight care home
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has completed the sale of former care home, Ward House Nursing Home, in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.

Originally a pair of semi-detached houses which had been joined together a number of years ago, this former nursing home comprises a three-storey property with 19 bedrooms of which eight have en suite facilities. There is a passenger lift accessing all floors with a large and extended lounge/dining area on the ground floor. Rooms to the rear of the property and the enclosed garden have lovely panoramic views over the English Channel.
Ward House ceased trading in February 2024 and RSM UK Restructuring Advisory LLP was appointed as its Liquidator shortly after.
Following an open sales process with Charles Phillips at Christie & Co, the property has been sold to experienced residential developer, Johann Joubert.
