Pembrokeshire care home with excellent local reputation sold to growing operator

Rostley Care Home is a highly regarded care setting, registered for up to 14 elderly residents, providing care services including dementia, Parkinson’s disease and stroke rehabilitation. The property is a single-storey detached care home, having been constructed from two domestic bungalows that have been extended.

Situated on Castle Pill Crescent in the town of Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, the home benefits from good transport, including the regional airport of Haverfordwest, as well as local rail links.

Jayne Anderson and Sarah Kempson, both highly experienced operators, have owned and managed the home successfully since 2006, focusing on person-focused and tailored care for each resident. They have taken the decision to sell the business in order to downsize and focus on semi-retirement.

Following a confidential sales process with Oliver McCarthy, Director – Care at Christie & Co, the home has been purchased by Robin Appathurai, a local care provider. This acquisition marks his second care home in Pembrokeshire, further strengthening his presence in the region.
