Saydon Pharmacy is a standard hours community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 4,000 items per month. It is located in Small Heath, a suburb in south-east Birmingham, just three miles from the city centre.

The pharmacy has been owned by Great Wood Pharmacy Limited for over five years and was brought to market to enable them to re-focus on larger volume pharmacies.

Following a confidential sales process with Carl Steer at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Raj Patel at Christie Finance, the pharmacy has been purchased by first-time buyer, Sardar Shabir of Spring Hill Pharma Ltd.

Carl Steer, Director – Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “It is always great to see a first-time buyer secure their first pharmacy. After some false starts for my clients with prior sales, it was nice to see a committed, organised buyer bring the sale to completion in good time.”

Raj Patel, Senior Finance Consultant at Christie Finance, comments, “It was a pleasure to provide funding for Sardar, to help him enter into pharmacy ownership. He is an experienced individual, and I look forward to working on other projects to fund soon.”

Saydon Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
