Chickpea Group expands with the purchase of Somerset's Manor House Inn through Christie & Co
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, is pleased to announce the sale of former pub, The Manor House Inn, located in the village of Ditcheat, Somerset.
Dating back to the 1600s, The Manor House Inn is steeped in history and stands proudly as a cornerstone of Ditcheat’s rich heritage. The classic red brick property boasts a range of period features, providing a glimpse into the region’s past. Ditcheat is now known for its vibrant community and renowned attractions such as Barber’s Farmhouse cheese makers and Paul Nicholls’ stables, which makes it an ideal location for the revival of this successful pub.
The Manor House Inn, which has been closed since November 2023, has been purchased by expanding operators, Chickpea Group, and will undergo a grand reopening following renovations.
