Impressive West Devon care home sold after almost 40 years

Springfields is an impressive, highly regarded residential care business which occupies a former rectory in the attractive West Devon village of Bridestowe which sits on the fringes of Devon’s Dartmoor National Park.
The home has been owned by Stephen and Kathy Byrne since the late 1980s, over which time it has been significantly improved, modified, and extended to provide high-quality accommodation for up to 34 elderly service users.
Stephen and Kathy decided to sell to pursue a well-earned retirement and, following a confidential sales process with Simon Harvey at Christie & Co, the home has been purchased by an existing local operator.
