Post office and store in Cornish village sold

The large Londis-branded convenience store and post office is located in the centre of Sticker village, and provides well-needed services to both local residents and the wider community.
The store has been sold on behalf of owners Mandy and Ian Bissett who, after running the store for the last 25 years, now wish to retire. They commented, “It has been a pleasure living in the village and serving the local community for the last 25 years. We would very much like to thank all our loyal customers for their support in using the shop and post office over the years. We would like to wish Carl Ball the very best of luck and we are confident that our business has transferred into safe hands.”
The store has been purchased by Carl Ball, a local operator who knows the village well and owns other existing businesses in the area. Carl plans to continue running the store as it is, introducing additional product lines to enhance the offering for customers.
“I am very excited to be taking over Sticker Stores. It is a wonderful shop that has been long-established in the local area. The post office will continue to be a much relied-upon service, and I plan to bring in more products to offer greater choices for those shopping in the store,” Carl said.

Insurance for the store was also secured through Christie Insurance. Gage Burgess, Account Executive, added, “It was a pleasure to assist Carl and secure the insurance for his new venture. With a family connection to Sticker, I feel a strong bond with the area and I am excited to see the store go from strength to strength under his ownership.”
The store freehold was sold off an asking price of £685,000.
