The Boathouse is an independently owned restaurant overlooking Ardminish Bay on the Isle of Gigha, around three hours from Glasgow in the southern Hebrides.

Having earned a Michelin guide reputation for serving fresh, seasonal Scottish seafood, the cosy restaurant is housed within a 300-year-old building, boasting charming original features such as wooden beams, stone walls and a traditional Scottish interior.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 40 patrons, with a further outdoor decked area boasting panoramic sea views which can seat up to 70. There are also two glamping pods which have historically been used as staff accommodation.

The restaurant is becoming increasingly popular, with tourists from around the world visiting the Scottish Islands every year, drawn to their beautiful beaches and historical sites. The Boathouse combines a well-established business with a unique lifestyle opportunity.

Associate Director – Hospitality at Christie & Co, Tony Spence, is managing the sale and comments: “We are delighted to be acting on behalf of the tenant for this well performing restaurant situated on the Isle of Gigha.  The Boathouse has a great reputation for serving fine Scottish seafood on the West Coast of Scotland, and it is now available by way of assignation.”

The Boathouse is being sold leasehold with an asking price of £100,000.
