The Kings Arms Hotel is a newly refurbished boutique hotel comprising 20 luxury en suite bedrooms and multi-award winning King’s Restaurant with wedding venue and events facilities. The King’s Restaurant accommodates up to 80 covers and is one of the only restaurants in Dorset to have been awarded the Bib Gourmand Award for three consecutive years. There is a separate bar area with 60 covers and a functions space for up to 120 guests. Externally the King’s Pavilion and bowling green have been recently restored and the space is used for a range of functions and events including BBQs, weddings and larger events.

The property is comprised of two main elements: the hotel, restaurant and function / wedding space which is held freehold and the bowling green and pavilion, which is used for events, is held leasehold.

Christchurch is situated in Dorset, between the New Forest National Park and the vibrant seaside resort of Bournemouth. The town sits at the mouth of the River Avon and River Stour, leading to a natural Harbour, situated 0.3 miles from the property. The town boasts access to award winning beaches, with Avon and Highcliffe beaches situated 2.3 miles and 4.2 miles from the property respectively.

James Greenslade, Director in the Hotel Capital Markets team at Savills, says: “This is an exceptional boutique hotel with a well established reputation for food and beverage as well as events in one of Dorset’s most desirable areas.”

Ed Bellfield, Director Hotels Christie & Co, says: “The Kings Arms Hotel has an established reputation, appealing to both leisure and corporate guests due to its proximity to the South Coast, Poole and the New Forest National Park. There is significant scope for an experienced owner/operator to invest in the site and benefit from its exceptionally unique location.”
