A fine example of Georgian architecture, the Queensbury Hotel is located on Regency Square, just off the famous Brighton seafront and close to the i360 viewing tower and pier. First converted to a hotel over a century ago, the five-storey property is set around a central garden and provides 20 guest rooms, as well as a reception and breakfast room, rich with traditional features and charm throughout.

Brighton is one of the most popular leisure and tourist destinations in the UK, as well as being a major conference hub and centre for arts and education, attracting visitors all year round.

Simon Jackaman, Director in Christie & Co’s Hotels team who handled the sale, said “This sale demonstrates the continued demand we are seeing for hotel assets of this size and in this location. Initial marketing generated a good number of viewings which led to multiple offers being received, and a sale concluding to a company who own similar assets in the local area. Having sold over 100 hotels in the last twelve months, we are experiencing strong levels of demand for hotels across the south and east of the UK, and would be delighted to hear from anyone thinking of either selling or buying.”

The hotel freehold was sold off an asking price of £1,750,000.
