Established Chatham care home sold as owners retire after 36 years

Established in 1988, The White House is a residential care home registered with the CQC to care for 38 elderly residents with dementia. It originally occupied a detached property which was extended following the acquisition of the two detached houses next to it that were interconnected with the latest purpose-built extension added in 2011.
The business has been owned by Christos and Lynn Nicolaou for 36 years and was recently brought to market to allow them to pursue a well-earned retirement.
Following a confidential sales process with John Harrison at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Neil Collins at Christie Finance, it has been sold to Sibi and Shaina Kumar who already operate a specialist home care company in Kent.

The White House care home was sold for an undisclosed price.
