Located in the heart of the village, The Small World Café is a popular, family-run business which offers a range of fresh, home-made and locally sourced food, hot drinks and an excellent bakery selection. The business was previously owned by Angela Wilson, who sold the business following retirement.

The Heart of Northumberland is a Grade II Listed pub situated just off Market Place, a long-established drinking and leisure circuit in Hexham. The pub, which underwent a major refurbishment in 2015, is highly popular among locals and tourists alike, being recently voted the eighth Cosiest Pub in the UK.

On the sale of Small World Café, Marslie comments, “Small World Café presented an excellent opportunity for an owner-operator to take over a long-established business in the heart of Hexham.
