Vacant licensed venue in Helensburgh sold to Amber Taverns

Located on James Street in the town centre, the property previously operated as a successful bar and restaurant, formerly known as ‘The Loggie Baird’ until its closure in 2022. Historically, the property also traded as a cinema until the mid-1980s and is long-established on the Helensburgh leisure circuit.
The property was sold by the former owners who wish to focus on other business interests.
The pub has been sold to Amber Taverns. Sam Frankland, Property Director, commented on their acquisition, “Helensburgh will be Amber Taverns’ 13th site in Scotland, and we plan to expand further over the next few years. We trade from over 180 pubs across the UK, and Scotland remains a key focus for us.
