New owner for Sandwell community pharmacy
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Wednesbury Pharmacy in Sandwell, West Midlands.
Wednesbury Pharmacy is a standard hours community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 7,600 items per month. It is located in the Friar Park area of Wednesbury, a market town in Sandwell, West Midlands.
The business has been owned by Enimed Limited for over five years and was brought to market last year.
Following a confidential ‘off-market’ sales process with Carl Steer at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by Sukh Gill of Sodaskill Limited who owns Friar Park Chemist just a few doors up the road.
Carl Steer, Director - Medical at Christie & Co, comments, “It is always pleasing to complete a sale, but when you have been able to perform to the brief a client dictates, all the better. We were asked to offer the pharmacy to a shortlist of our best buyers in the area ‘off-market’. Within a few weeks, a sale was agreed at the guide price. The path to completion was not always a straight or easy one, but both parties exercised great patience and tenacity to cross the line just before Christmas.’’

Wednesbury Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
