New owner for convenience store in Falkirk

The lease for the store has been sold to an experienced operator with multiple shops across the central belt of Scotland. Since acquiring the business they have re-opened the shop, launched a new social media page, and plan to introduce a strong hot food offering to cater for morning commuters and hospital workers throughout the day. They have also refreshed the layout, including remerchandising of the alcohol section.

New owner Mr Aslam commented, “We are glad to have worked with Liam from Christie & Co to acquire this store. We look forward to meeting the local community and hope they enjoy our refreshed offering.”

With the shop only recently closed, there was potential for a new owner to step in and re-open very quickly once lease was agreed. This turned out to be the case, as we discussed the opportunity with nearby retailers and had several competitive offers, leading to a quick agreement on terms.”

Woodlands Local leasehold was sold at an undisclosed price.
