New owner for high-dispensing Northumberland village pharmacy

Wylam Pharmacy is a community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 11,300 NHS items per month. It sits completely unopposed in the desirable Northumberland village of Wylam, 10 miles west of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The pharmacy has been owned and run by Andrew Nicholson since 2002 and was recently brought to market to allow him to retire.
Following a confidential sales process with Karl Clezy at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Craig Dickson at Christie Finance, the pharmacy has been purchased by Kiani Healthcare Ltd, an independent contractor that owns another pharmacy in the Northumberland area.

This is the second pharmacy we have sold to this buyer, and I am confident they will develop this pharmacy and enhance patient care just like they did with their first branch.”
Wylam Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
