Christie & Co celebrates 90 years of excellence

Since 1935, we have been at the forefront of the market, providing expert advice and delivering exceptional results for our clients. We opened our first office on Baker Street in London, and have since expanded our services internationally, becoming the market leader in our respective sectors.

Our team has expanded substantially, bringing together a talented group of professionals across 22 offices in the UK and Europe, who share a passion for achieving the best results. The first regional office opened in Exeter in 1952, and over the decades we have supported clients through some of their most important decisions. From handling the sale of the Waterside Inn to the Roux brothers in 1972, to the 2006 sale of Hilton Metropole hotels, a £417 million deal, we have provided trusted advice on landmark transactions and become the partner of choice for generations of business owners.

Over the years we have entered new sectors, expanding from our roots in hotels, pubs, retail and care to the childcare and medical sectors, most recently with dental in 2013, quickly becoming the most active agent in these markets. We have also made important steps to grow our Capital Markets team to increase our activity within this area.

We have developed a strong presence across Europe, opening our first international office in Paris in 1998 followed by Frankfurt, Barcelona and Vienna. Today, we operate from 11 offices across France, Spain, Germany and Austria. We entered the care market in Germany in 2023, followed by France in 2024, and further expansion of our activities across Europe remains a strategic focus for the years ahead.
