When did you join Christie & Co?
I joined in June 2023 following a conversation/coffee with Sara Hartill, who I met a few years ago.

What was your first job?
I worked in the local pub whilst also delivering Papa John’s pizzas.

In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie & Co?
I work in the Healthcare Development & Investment team alongside Jordan Rundle, Sara Hartill and Laura Bourne. We broker land deals across the country that have achieved or are in the process of achieving C2 planning permission.

What’s been a highlight of your career so far?
I recently passed the APC to become a Chartered Surveyor. Lots of long hours and many weekends in the office were spent revising, so I am very happy to have achieved this.

How has the industry changed since you started at Christie & Co?
When I first started at Christie & Co. I did notice that buyer confidence was somewhat low, as can be expected in the macroeconomic climate. However, in the last month or so I have seen sentiment increase marginally and there appears to be more of an appetite for deals. Looking forward to Q1 2024!

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?
I play 5-a-side football once a week and have recently taken up bridge, which I am slowly becoming addicted to.

What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?
I grew up in a small village near Bewdley and now live in South London.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Someone standing on the left of the escalator when you want to walk.

What is one thing on your bucket list?
Heli-skiing!
