I recently met with Jin Xu, the Economic and Commercial Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, to introduce Christie + Co to the Minister and discuss our ongoing work with Chinese investors.

Most recently we assisted HK CTS Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Travel Service Group Corporation, on the purchase of Kew Green Hotels Ltd. The portfolio is comprised of 44 owned assets totalling 5,179 rooms as well as its managed hotels business of 10 hotels. The sale is the largest Chinese hotel transaction in the UK and we worked closely with CTS as the company looks to broaden their investment in the UK.

Christie + Co this year celebrates its 80th anniversary. Over the years the company, which now operates out of 16 UK and 16 international offices, has worked on many landmark projects for countless leading companies on a wide range of groundbreaking deals in business properties and portfolios. Our knowledge and insight of the UK and European markets make Christie + Co an obvious choice for Chinese investor who are looking to expand into these markets and may not have firsthand experience of them. We will be working alongside the Chinese Embassy to assist Chinese companies plan their overseas expansion.
