ABC Day Nursery in Walsall sold to first-time buyer pair
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of ABC Day Nursery in Walsall.
Established in 1991, ABC Day Nursery is a modest setting based in the town of Willenhall in Walsall, with a longstanding reputation for offering a vital service to key workers in the locality.
Previously owned by Mrs Linda Whitehouse, the business was brought to market as a retirement sale, and has been purchased by first-time buyers, father and son team, Mr Gurpreet and Mr Lak Klair, who enter the sector with extensive property experience.
Linda Whitehouse comments, “I purchased the business in 2003, the nursery was established in 1991. Over the 19 years, I have made many changes to the nursery and turned it into a thriving business with a fantastic, professional, reliable, experienced team. The nursery has an excellent reputation within the town of Willenhall and receives lots of recommendations from past and present parents. The business was perfect for the buyers as the excellent management and staff team are in place to continue to provide the service anticipated from parents within the local area. I wish Gurpreet and Lak every success in the future as new day nursery owners.”
Gurpeet Klair comments, “We are excited to take on and continue the hard work and dedication shown by Linda over her 19-year tenure of ABC Day Nursery. We are keen to keep the existing management team in place and will only make improvements to better the service provided to our children who attend nursery. We would like to thank Linda Whitehouse for her help in the handover and ensuring a smooth transition for all parties, as well as Jassi Sunner in helping with the purchase.”
