This is a testament of the quality and experience of our leading UK hospitality team and evidence of the high levels of activity and appetite we are seeing at all levels of the market, even though stock levels remain subdued. With Covid finally behind us, we are confident that the market will be even more active in 2022.”

Simon Chaplin, Senior Director of Pubs & Restaurants who won Hotel & Leisure Dealmaker of the Year comments, “I’m delighted to have been recognised, along with a number of colleagues, in the EG awards, after what was an exciting 2021. The range of properties that we transacted was wide and varied, from tenanted pubs to high value single assets. It also included two projects for YUM!, with the sale of 58 franchised Pizza Hut Delivery sites. This has opened us up to a new market which we are now becoming heavily involved in. After 40 years of selling hospitality businesses and having just passed 25 years back at Christie & Co, it’s nice to have a new string to my bow and know that I’m getting the hang of it at last!”
