Situated on Market Place in the town centre, the store has operated as Today’s Local for many years and is well-established in the local community. The store is finished to a high standard and sells groceries, household essentials, alcohol, food-to-go and confectionaries.

The store was sold on behalf of Mr Nick Ramsden, owner of Dee Bee Wholesale in Grimsby, to allow him to focus more on the wholesale business moving forward.

The store has been acquired by Mr & Mrs Keshwala, who bring over seven years of experience in running a shop. They plan to add more product lines and stock a wide variety of items, to stand out as a unique local store.

Steve Riley, Business Agent at Christie & Co who managed the sale, said: “I am very pleased to have completed on the successful sale of Today’s Local convenience store in Hedon. The transaction was relatively straightforward and I’m delighted with the outcome. The store attracted high volumes of interest with multiple offers received. Both buyer and seller were excellent to work with, demonstrating professionalism and cooperation throughout the process. I wish both parties continued success in their future endeavours.”

A new lease for the store was sold at an undisclosed price.
