Your expert business property advisers
Located on the busy Gorgie Road, Jessie Mays was formerly known as the Station Bar, which was previously purchased through Christie &Co. Due to it’s prime location in Edinburgh’s city centre, the business has benefitted from regular passing and local trade.
The pub has been purchased by Martin Proudler, owner of the Brass Monkey bars in Edinburgh and Leith. Martin has exciting plans to refurbish and convert the pub into the latest Brass Monkey bar.
Simon Watson, Business Agent at Christie & Co who is handled the sale, comments, “Following a completely off-market process, we are delighted to have secured a new experienced tenant for our client. The new venture is exactly what the Gorgie area needs, and I would like to wish Martin and his team all the best with their new venture. If you would like to discuss the sale of your business on a confidential, no-obligation basis, please get in touch with us.”
