Together, the three properties offer 380 keys and sit across more than 900 acres of freehold countryside estates, with extensive golf, leisure, spa, food and beverage, and meeting facilities.

Set within a historic manor estate near Chepstow in Monmouthshire, the St. Pierre Country Club comprises 148 bedrooms, two 18-hole golf courses, including the Championship Old Course and the Mathern Course, and extensive leisure facilities, food and beverage outlets, and event spaces.

Dating back to 1266 and situated on the border of the Peak District National Park near Derby, the Breadsall Priory Country Club in Derbyshire comprises 112 bedrooms, two 18-hole golf courses and golf training facilities, a health club and spa, restaurant and bar, meeting spaces, and elegant period public areas.

Set within 200 acres of ancient deer parkland, Tudor Park Country Club near Maidstone in Kent features 120 bedrooms, an 18‑hole championship golf course, spa and leisure facilities, food and beverage outlets, meeting and event space, and strong corporate and leisure demand due to its proximity to London.

The three luxury hotel resorts have been acquired by Select Group, the Dubai-headquartered real estate developer and hospitality investor, marking a significant expansion of its UK hospitality platform.

The acquisition follows Select Group’s earlier purchase of The Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Cheshire and Old Thorns Hotel & Resort in Hampshire, bringing the Group’s UK golf resort portfolio to five properties and more than 530 keys.

Amante sold the three properties on behalf of shareholders.

Israr Liaqat, Group Chief Executive Officer of Select Group, said, “This acquisition reflects our conviction in the UK golf resort sector as a compelling long-term asset class. These are three properties with strong underlying fundamentals: established brands, quality locations, extensive grounds and loyal guest bases. We see clear opportunity to enhance their operational performance and elevate the guest experience through focused investment over the coming years.

“The UK continues to be an important market for Select Group, and we are committed to building a portfolio of hospitality assets that combine strong locations, enduring appeal and genuine potential for long-term value creation.”

Paul Thomas, Vice President, Development, Marriott International, said, “We are delighted to work with Select Group as new owners of these three UK Delta Hotels by Marriott distinctive country clubs and golf resorts. Select Group has built a strong international reputation for investing in high-quality hospitality assets, and we look forward to working together to strengthen the long-term success of Delta Breadsall Priory Country Club, Delta St. Pierre Country Club and Delta Tudor Park Country Club.”

Jeremy Jones, Head of Brokerage – Hotels at Christie & Co, commented, “We are pleased to have completed the sale of this well-presented portfolio on behalf of the seller team. Strategically located across the country, these golf resorts offer great potential for value enhancement through operational efficiencies and development opportunities. It has been a pleasure working with Select Group and we wish them every success with their portfolio.”

Christie & Co is currently marketing three further Delta Hotels by Marriott properties in Newcastle, Preston and Swansea.
