What are Valuations?
The essential characteristic of this type of property is that it has been designed or adapted for a specific use, and the value of the property interest is intrinsically linked to the returns that an owner can generate from that use. The value therefore reflects the trading potential of the property. It can be contrasted with generic property that can be occupied by a range of different business types, such as standard office, industrial or retail property.

Our Valuation Activity
Each year our team completes valuations of thousands of properties across the UK and Europe. Working closely with our transactional colleagues, who sell over 1,000 businesses each year, we are able to draw on current market sentiment and comparable evidence.
On average, our team value or advise on over £10bn of property every year, making us one of the most active valuers in our markets. This is across the whole spectrum from single properties through to inspecting portfolios in excess of 2,000 properties.
