As part of the Corporate Pub and Restaurant team, Simon heads up our Restaurant activity nationwide. Based in our London office, Simon co-ordinates disposals and acquisitions for the main branded national and regional restaurant operators, as well as oversees sector activity at our local agency offices.
Having been in the industry selling pubs, bars and restaurants since 1983, Simon has covered most of the country and been based out of Ipswich, Bristol, the Midlands plus London over the years. This has resulted in him accumulating a wealth of in-depth knowledge of all aspect of the industry; however he enjoys the element of continual learning which comes with the ever changing pace of the sector.
In recent years Simon has handled a range of restaurant property from the sale of 28 Paramount Restaurants, the letting of 33 former Little Chef sites, acquisitions for The Restaurant Group and the disposal of individual iconic London sites such as the Albannach in Trafalgar Square, Michelin starred St John’s in Leicester Square and the Troubadour in West London.
All this knowledge is now put to good use when asked to present at seminars for organisations such as Propel and other bodies.
Simon is also an avid supporter of the industry through his membership of the ALMR and is an Associate member of the British Institute of Inn keeping.
