Christie & Co’s Healthcare team has been responsible for a number of major transactions working for blue chip clients including Legal & General.

Holmes Care Group

  • Sale & leaseback transaction of family owned business in Scotland
  • Group comprises nine homes in Scotland providing 649 beds
  • Christie & Co brokered the off market sale Impact Healthcare REIT for £47.5m


Project Spruce

  • Sale of the freehold investment interest of the BMI hospital in Darlington
  • Instructed on behalf of Legal & General to run a discrete off market process
  • Sold in August 2020 following a highly  competitive process to NYSE listed Medical Properties Trust for £29.4m


Project Pine – Care UK Investments

  • Sale of a group of  prime care home investments let to Care UK Community Partnerships Ltd on behalf of Legal & General
  • Sale instruction followed a long standing performance monitoring mandate for Legal & General
  • Christie & Co sold the group to SCPI Pierval Sante, a French real estate investor entering the UK market


Pre-Let & Forward Funded Investment Sale, Bedfordshire

  • High quality 76 bedroom care home development opportunity
  • Letting agreed to a large regional third sector operator
  • With the pre-let in place, we successfully concluded a forward funded investment sale to a specialist healthcare fund

  • Annual rental income c. €15m
  • Sold off a guide price of OIEO €200m


Holiday Inn & Indigo Hotel, Berlin

  • Two newly built 4-star hotels in Berlin at Alexanderplatz with 242 and 153 rooms
  • Sold to Invesco Real Estate as part of a sale-and-leaseback transaction on behalf of Azure Property Group


Hilton Garden Inn, Vienna

  • Mixed use asset with a 174 key hotel
  • Sale on behalf of Immofinanz to an Austrian private investor


Hampton by Hilton, Paris

  • 156 key hotel in Clichy
  • Investment transaction


Radisson Blu Sun Gardens, Croatia

  • Sale on behalf of Austrian Bank, Erste Group, to Chinese private investor

  • Transaction concluded in June 2021 on behalf of the owner

  • Freehold investment let to Bestway Wholesale
  • Sold in July 2021 to a private investor
  • Christie & Co acted as joint agent & secured multiple buds
