Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of the Welsh countryside, Hammet House is a short distance from the Cardigan Bay coastline famed as the home to a large number of dolphins and its Blue Flag beaches. The historic town of Cardigan, the county town of Haverfordwest and tourist attractions such as Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm are all within easy reach.

The property has traded as a country house hotel since 1960 and under the current ownership since 2011.
The Hotel has an excellent reputation for food with two AA Rosettes and recommendations in the 2014 & 2015 Michelin guide. The current owners have extensively refurbished the accommodation to offer a contemporary take on a traditional country house hotel with 15 ensuite guest bedrooms, a restaurant (40), private Georgian dining room (12), stylish Library bar with open fire, ballroom that can accommodate up to 160 guests, large car park and extensive grounds of approximately 7 acres (STMS).

John Coggins of Christie & Co’s Cardiff office is responsible for handling the sale. He comments: “Hammet House is a fantastic opportunity for a new owner to acquire a substantial and unique country house hotel in a location that is truly beautiful. The business enjoys excellent levels of trade with year on year sales growth and good levels of profitability but with significant scope for new owners to push the business forward through developing the events trade and by adding additional guest rooms”.

Christie & Co is seeking offers of £1,300,000 for the freehold interest in Hammet House.
